Vintage 1940s Italian Cherub Velvet Tapestry Bedspread
Beautiful vintage Italian velvet chenille tapestry bedspread, having the cherubs and roses motif. These were popular gifts by Italian Hotels back in the 1940’s. It has gorgeous rich stunning colors that reflect the light and dark golds, reds, pinks and greens. Very rich looking, and very heavy!
There is velvet fringe around the hem that has quite a few places where some is missing. You may want to replace this fringe with another velvet fringe. It does not detract from the overall beauty unless you want it perfect. This makes great fabulous fabric to cover a vanity, settee, pillows, chairs, lamp shades, and etc. in your Italian or French décor setting. No holes, stains, repair or odors of any kind. Comes from a smoke and pet-free home. Measurements are 87” long by 99” wide.
